The aim of the project is to develop new, highly flexible and needs-based management strategies for water reuse for urban and agricultural irrigation in a practical manner and to optimize them in the context of relevant demonstrations with practice partners in order to accelerate implementation in other target regions. The focus here is on the development of recommendations for action for implementation under licensing law, the definition of water quality requirements for different irrigation practices as well as cloud-based real-time approaches for determining demand and automated systems for quality assurance. Building on this, a supply analysis of alternative water resources including innovative concepts for storage but also for the implementation of urban service water systems in existing buildings will be carried out.
