Bayerischer Rundfunk reports on EuroQExa

Bayerischer Rundfunk reports on EuroQExa, the quantum system that is being integrated into a supercomputer at the LRZ and will soon be made available to European research.

Euro-Q-Exa is the hybrid quantum supercomputer of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) for research, which is hosted at the LRZ. For Euro-Q-Exa, a 54-qubit quantum system from IQM will be integrated into the supercomputer at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre and a 150-qubit system will be installed in a second step. Bayerischer Rundfunk had a look at the quantum computer on site and reported on it.
