Service Option VPN into MWN

Access to services limited to the MWN (from LRZ or other institutions) via VPN as an option for MWN connection or from on the road / at home.

For LRZ customers with internet access from external providers, e.g. with DSL connection, 8 VPN servers (IPsec, SSLVPN) are operated in a cluster, so that they can use MWN-internal services, e.g. access to online media of the university libraries.

Only members of institutions that are connected to the MWN can use this service.
