Video Conference Service (WebRTC)

The video conferencing system is a software-based communication solution that enables people from different locations around the world to be virtually connected in order to support modern application scenarios such as online meetings or collaborative work in research and teaching.

The LRZ operates a web conference service based on the OpenSource solution Jitsi Meet at https://meet.lrz.de. With web conferences you can transmit audio and video content from your PC via webcam and headset over the internet to your conversation partner on the other side. Additional features such as screen transmission or chat in the web conference room are also possible.
