Energy efficient supercomputing: Stop by at the LRZ booth and talk to our experts about our cutting-edge research in this area: adsorption cooling. Our latest figures show adsorption cooling is already more efficient than air cooling and has potential to be as efficient as free cooling.
Virtual Reality showcase: Immerse yourself in a virtual world and view a 3D representation of the temperature distribution inside the earth. The model developed by Prof. Bunge (LMU) and visualised by LRZ helps to understand the origins of natural hazards like earthquakes or volcanic eruptions.
LRZ application labs: Learn more about how LRZ supports its HPC users and discuss with our experts their use cases from the AstroLab, GeoLab, BioLab, CFDLab and BigDataLab.
